Having dabbled in property and few years back, and had my fingers burned, I read this with some trepidation, after being given an advance copy by a friend. The first few chapters of the book introduce hacks that would be helpful to anyone in the early stages of setting up a business, so I felt quite safe. As I progressed through the chapters, I realised that I wasn't alone in making mistakes in the property world, and there are many different avenues to invest in within the market, and the chapter that specifically "spoke" to me was the one on Airbnb and I would say the book is more than worth buying for that chapter alone. I also found the subject of crowdfunding compelling because the return on investment is so much higher than in the bank. Who knew such a thing existed? It is evident the author knows his trade well; with years of experience, he's clearly learnt from his mistakes and wants to stop others making those same mistakes. The book is well written, and easy to read for a lay person, such as myself. It's not too jargon-y, and the glossary at the back helps with unfamiliar term. On of all that, there are loads of links to freebies, downloads and even recommended companies that can help in various areas. Annoyingly, the book leaves me with the feeling I now I no excuse not to get back into property investment!

Written for people with a bit of knowledge of property investing already, the book provides some good tips. Marked down to 4 star as the continuous self promotion and links to the authors website become tiring throughout the book. One link at the beginning or end of the book would suffice.

I'm new to the property game and with that brings all it's challenges on where to start. With so much to take on board it's easy to get caught up in the avalanche of info you need to work through and in what order. I received an advance copy of this book to review and boy am I glad I did. I read it in record time and enjoyed every moment. Each chapter is full to the brim of current property development approaches which I must say I didn't know existed. I also loved the real life scenarios and the authors story / journey in the property game. Makes it more real for me! I can say with confidence that in only a few days I feel better equipped with the know how to make my next steps on my journey and have formed an overall strategy. I'm miles ahead of where I thought I would be because I read this book. As I said a must read for any newbie to the property investing game.

I have been in property for a few years and have found it hard growing a property business. However reading the advance review copy of this book has given me more ideas how to do this more effectively. The first chapter “Brain Hack” the mind-set is probably the most important aspect to any business not just property. Other “hacks” throughout each of the chapters can help all property investors from somebody that is thinking about investing in property to the full time professional. This book is a great insight in to the many aspects of property investing and I would recommend this as a good reference guide for property investing.

Wow. Where do I start with this book. What a fantastic read. I was very happy to receive an advanced review copy of this book which has given me so much food for thought when it comes to property development. I have been in the property world for a couple of years now and having done a few small projects I needed some guidance and expertise to help me progress to more innovative and profitable ways of working.
