This is really good. Best purchase I've made. I bought this so that I can save money with my dorm mates to do group activities and it works really well. The size is perfect as it fits safely in our kitchen cupboard out of sight of prying eyes. It makes fun sounds when you insert money. It's easy to set up and use. It is simple to figure out, the instructions are clear and easy to understand. This item is perfect to help save money. You have to put the little ATM card in before inserting money, insert your code and then you can start putting money in, it counts coins as you put it in, just do it one at a time and slowly so the machine can register what coin you put in, and before inserting notes you must press the correct notes button. I highly recommend this as it's fun to use. It does take batteries and the screw is small so I suggest buying a tiny star-shapped screw driver and some AA batteries (it takes 3).

This is a brilliant ATM bank machine (money box) it recognises the British currency and let's me know instantly how much I have in there which is excellent. I cannot praise it enough it is well worth the money.

27/12/18 - updated review. This Christmas Gift was a complete success and my 10 year old Grandson absolutely loves it. We sat with the instruction book - really clear instructions by the way. I read from the instruction leaflet and my Grandson set the ATM up very easily. You will need 3 x AA batteries which are not supplied. He set the date/time; changed the pin number as well as loading it up with coins of all denominations, along with new notes - again various denominations. He was so impressed as he watched the total increasing with each coin/note which went into the Bank. He set his "target" saving amount and now he is well on his way; with each addition to the bank he can see the increased total. The actual bank has lots of space inside for coins and notes. It was a lot better than I thought it might be and I have one very pleased Grandson. He now has his very own plastic transaction card, pin number which gives him his very own "hole in the wall" This product arrived very quickly and the packaging protected the product brilliantly. It was a present for my Grandson (which appeared on his Christmas List.). I’m sure he will be really pleased with this gift; it will be like having his very own “hole in the wall!”

Great idea, but poor materials. The withdraw button doesn't work anymore to open the door so money is stuck in it. Coins are detected anymore or if they are detects the wrong coin. Such a shame. I can't get my £50 refund now as its past the Amazon return period even though it's only 2 months old. Need to rely on the seller support but they've gone quiet.

Bought this for our son age 9. It gives him his own way to manage money. He can set his own 4 digit pin and have his own debit card which comes with it. Only he can access the money using his pin. Otherwise it’s locked to anyone else. The machine can automatically count coins going in and also counts notes by him manually entering the amount Using £5 / £10 / £20 / £50 note button etc. It then shows and remembers the exact total. It also recalculates the new amount If he takes any money out. Thanks done by pressing the withdraw button and then how much you are withdrawing. He loves this machine because it’s like a real ATM. Encouraging him to save any money he gets from birthdays etc or earns with jobs around the house etc - small amounts. Also has an alarm that can be set for wake up calls too. Highly recommend it.
